At Casitas de Mundo, we make it easy to own a safe, affordable home — no complicated construction delays or endless site visits. You choose your model, add your upgrades, prepare your site, and your Casita arrives ready to unfold, connect, and enjoy.

Reserve Your Home
Once you’ve selected your model and upgrades:
- Lock in pricing
- Complete your reservation form
- Sign a formal purchase agreement with final terms and conditions
- Submit payment or deposit based on your selected payment plan, terms and conditions
You will receive:
- Fully executed sale and purchase agreement
- Confirmation of your customized home buildout
- Estimated shipping timeline
- A Casita Site Prep Guide (PDF)

Prepare Your Land
You are responsible for hiring a local contractor to prepare your site. Casitas de Mundo does not provide installation, but we provide layout guidance and utility access details.
Build a level foundation (concrete slab, concrete blocks, or elevated platform)
Ensure underground access for water, sewer, and electrical lines

We Deliver Your Casita
Once built, your home is folded, loaded, and shipped to your site via truck or container. The timeline varies based on your location and order volume. Shipping costs, tariffs, taxes, duties and customs fees not included in price and can be estimated by Casitas De Mundo or the buyer.

Local contractor unfolds and secures the structure
Hookups connected to your prepared utilities
Your Casita is then ready to furnish and move into.
Important Notes:
- We ship throughout Puerto Rico, the U.S. mainland, and Latin America
- Installation quotes must be obtained directly through your contractor
- You maintain control over the site, utilities, and labor — we provide the house
Shipping costs, tariffs, taxes, duties and customs fees not included in Casita price and can be estimated and included in the purchase by Casitas De Mundo or the buyer control that process separately.

Everything you need to know about Models
Does Casitas De Mundo provide installation?
No. Buyers are responsible for hiring a local contractor. We provide a Site Prep Guide and Installation Guide.
What kind of foundation do I need?
You can place your Casita on:
- A concrete slab
- Concrete blocks
- A raised platform
How are utilities connected?
Casitas come pre-wired and pre-plumbed. Your contractor will:
- Connect water and sewer under the unit
- Hook up to electrical service
- Ensure local code compliance
- Install air conditioning and heating where applicable
Where do you ship?
We ship throughout:
- Puerto Rico
- United States (including Florida & Texas)
- Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile, Brazil
How long does delivery take?
Timeline varies by location and order volume, but most homes ship within 30–60 days from payment. You’ll receive a delivery estimate and updates along the way. Other Spec homes may be available immediately and will have many upgraded options.
What happens when the Casita arrives?
The home is delivered folded. Your contractor will:
- Unfold the structure
- Anchor it to the foundation
- Secure walls and roof
- Connect utilities
